Polarization, Authoritarianism, and the 2016 Elections

How can we explain the rise of a candidate for president so unlike any we’ve seen in recent history? Join Jonathan Weiler as he explains the connection between America’s polarized politics, its political paralysis, and the resulting appeal of nontraditional candidates on the national stage. This talk will help us see the 2016 elections as a logical outcome of our recent partisan past.
