At a Stranger’s Table: A Discussion of the Latino Migrant Farm Worker’s Plight in Eastern North Carolina

Please join us for a presentation, film screening, and panel discussion with UNC Assistant Professor of Anthropology Angela Steusse, documentary filmmaker Scott Temple, artist Sally Jacobs, and members of AMEXCAN as we discuss the challenges faced by Latino migrant farm workers in North Carolina.  Pizza and drinks provided.

This event is free and open to the public. It will take place in the J. Paul and Diana S. Davenport Multipurpose Room in the Craig F. Goess Student Center.

This project is made possible by funding from the North Carolina Humanities Council, a statewide nonprofit and affiliate of the National Endowment for the Humanities. It is co-sponsored by the UNC Center for Global Initiatives, UNC World View, and the Duke-UNC Consortium in Latin American and Caribbean Studies.
