Professor Bart Ehrman takes up the question of whether or not Jesus existed in this second half of a two-part series. Professor Ehrman reviews whether or not there are historically significant references to Jesus outside of the four Gospels of the New Testament. In his concluding lecture, Professor Ehrman argues that Jesus certainly existed. Understanding who he really was might help us understand what his ultimate message might have been.

Bart D. Ehrman, James A. Gray Professor of Religious Studies and author or editor of over twenty books, has published extensively in the fields of the New Testament and Early Christianity. His most recent book is Did Jesus Exist? The Historical Argument for Jesus of Nazareth.
