The last few decades have seen a proliferation of scholarship on the Holocaust, with insights drawing on newly available sources, innovative questions, and a more integrative approach that has brought a nuanced and sophisticated understanding to the history of the Shoah. Historian Christopher Browning has been front and center in these developments. At this seminar he will reflect on the development of Holocaust studies as a field. Joining him are four of his graduate students, who will bring us up to date on their own contributions to this growing field.
