Capitalism with a Human Face

This lecture takes a critical look at some assumptions undergirding our free market system. How can capitalism help the 45 million people living in poverty and the 20 million people underemployed in the United States alone? This presentation advocates a new perspective on economics that would provide the basis for a just socio-economic system, ensure a fair distribution of income, care about the environment, and not be indifferent to the welfare of future generations.

TIME: 4:30 to 6:00 p.m.
