Great Books Reading Group: Madame Bovary by Gustave Flaubert

Join UNC assistant professor of French, Jessica Tanner, at the Sawtooth School for a one-day Great Books reading group on Madame Bovary.  The 90-minute morning session will focus on context and meaning, and then we will return for another 90 minutes after lunch to tackle substantive issues in the text. To be sure we are literally on the same page, every participant will receive a copy of the book before we meet.
