A 2016 Oscars Preview: A “Carolina Blue Carpet” Event

No red carpet here! Join us on the Carolina Blue carpet at the Varsity Theatre for an Oscars Preview Event. The nominees, the snubs, the trends and outliers of the past year in film are all fair game for film experts Dana Coen and Scott Myers of UNC’s Writing for the Stage and Screen program. Get tips on your Oscar ballot and see clips of the nominees for the 2016 Academy Awards before the big event at this lighthearted review of contemporary film.

6:00-6:45 p.m. Carolina Blue carpet arrivals

6:45-8:30 p.m. Lecture and popcorn
