Humanity has recently made a great leap in our understanding of the Universe: we now know there are many Earth-like habitable worlds around other stars. Nicholas Law will introduce us to exoplanets, planets that orbit other stars in our galaxy. He’ll discuss these revolutionary discoveries, and go on to describe Evryscopes, exotic new very wide field survey telescopes that we are building at UNC and deploying around the world to advance our detection and understanding of exoplanets.

Nicholas M. Law, Assistant Professor of Physics and Astronomy
