What is an emotion? Everyone feels them and sees them in others. In fact, they’re so ubiquitous that Disney made a movie about them. But what does the latest psychology and neuroscience research say about how your brain really creates joy, fear, disgust, sadness and schadenfreude? Join Kristen Lindquist, winner of a 2016 Johnston Award for Excellence in Undergraduate Teaching, for a discussion of how your brain creates the most interesting contents of your mind.
