UNC screenwriting professors Dana Coen and Scott Myers will be sharing their insights on the 2014 Academy Awards, including the history of the Oscars, the selection process and the nine movies nominated for Best Picture.  Prepare for a fresh perspective on this heralded event and perhaps some tips for your Oscar ballot.

TIME: 4:30 to 6:00 p.m.

All Humanities in Action events take place at Flyleaf Books in Chapel Hill. There are no preparatory readings for these events.

Program Tuition: Register ahead of time and pay $18.00 per program or pay only $8 if you are a member of the UNC General Alumni Association (GAA).
