Kamara Thomas is a multidisciplinary artist who brings her talents in music, film, and storytelling to works that challenge us to see the world in a new light. Lately she’s been focusing on the role of the storyteller in society and the need for reinvention of communal rituals in creative practices and culture work. Kamara is also a founder and leader of Country Soul Songbook, an artist-driven media platform with a mission to amplify BIPOC and LGBTQIA+ Voices in American Roots Music.
