Race and Voting Rights in North Carolina

February 3, 2021 @ 3:30 pm - 5:00 pm

featuring James L. Leloudis, Professor of History, UNC-Chapel Hill

and Robert Korstad, Professor Emeritus of Public Policy, Duke University

Join us this semester as we bring Humanities in Action online!

This series has long been our forum for “topics in the news,” and we continue that tradition with five talks that speak to challenges we face in America today, or subjects that are difficult to discuss in a heated political environment. Each lecture will be accompanied by a question and answer session with the presenter. Please be sure to verify the dates and times for all CPH events this spring as circumstances change quickly.

All programs are held online as a Zoom webinar.

Advance registrants can take advantage of our special HUMANITIES IN ACTION SEASON PASS and receive a discount on the purchase of all five lectures.

Tuition:  Each Humanities in Action lecture is $15.00 ($10.00 for GAA members).  With your registration fee, you can attend the webinar in real time or you can watch the recording at your leisure for up to 2 weeks after it is posted – or both!

Click here or call 919.962.1544 to register!
