Carolina Public Humanities is teaming up with the Ackland Art Museum
to explore the beauty of the natural world and the dynamic, multifaceted aspects of humanity
during the Dutch Golden Age.
Join Dana Cowen, Sheldon Peck Curator at the Ackland Art Museum, and Carolyn Allmendinger, Ackland’s Director of Education and Interpretation, in a discussion of Nina Siegal’s historical novel The Anatomy Lesson and the Ackland’s upcoming exhibition, Drawn to Life: Master Drawings from the Age of Rembrandt in the Peck Collection at the Ackland Art Museum, featuring over 70 exceptional Dutch drawings from the 17th century, many previously unpublished and rarely exhibited.
