Titicut Follies (1967)
May 14, 2019 @ 10:00 am - 12:00 pm
Presented by Matt Swiatlowski, Visiting Teaching Assistant Professor of American Studies
Directed by Frederick Wiseman
Documentary filmmaker Frederick Wiseman takes us inside the Massachusetts Correctional Institution Bridgewater where people stay trapped in their madness.
Join our Carolina scholars as they share their favorite American films from the 1960’s. Whether you like mysteries or documentaries, comedies or true crime, or maybe a cult classic—we’ve got something for everyone in this week-long “summer school” version of Mornings at the Movies! All screenings begin promptly at 10:00 am and conclude with a discussion with our scholar.
