We now have two formats for our weekend seminars: Adventures in Ideas and Dialogues.

Adventures in Ideas is our flagship program. We have hosted over 850 seminars since 1979, educating and entertaining over 55,000 participants. These sessions feature in-depth explorations of topics drawing on the latest scholarship and the most dynamic faculty from UNC and other area institutions. Built around a single topic, theme, approach, or sometimes purposely eclectic, these seminars help us appreciate the depth and interwoven nature of knowledge.

Dialogues are shorter format programs that feature two presentations and a more condensed schedule for those who want to learn about a topic in depth, but may not have time for an Adventures in Ideas seminar.
