An 2015 Oscars Preview

Due to the winter weather and hazardous road conditions, the University is closed today (2/17) and we have had to postpone “An 2015 Oscars Preview” with Professors Coen and Myers to Thursday, 2/19 at 4:30 pm.

We welcome back UNC screenwriting professors Dana Coen and Scott Myers to discuss the ten Oscar nominated films of 2014. This popular event will offer insights into the storytelling, marketing, industry trends, and the Hollywood award environment past and present. An enlightening discussion and entertaining afternoon is promised. Who knows, you might get some tips on your Oscar ballot before the big event!

TIME: 4:30 to 6:00 p.m.

All Spotlight on Scholars events take place at Flyleaf Books in Chapel Hill. There are no preparatory readings for these events.

Program Tuition: Register ahead of time and pay $18.00 per program or pay only $8 if you are a member of the UNC General Alumni Association (GAA).
