Connie C. Eble, Professor of English and Comparative Literature

It is easy to bemoan the state of the English language, but linguistic change is vital to a living language. Connie Eble, a member of the American Heritage Dictionary Usage Panel and author of Slang and Sociability: In-Group Language among College Students, shares what she and her students are learning about the English language and current usage from the web.

TIME: 4:30 to 6:00 p.m.
