Carolina Public Humanities hosts events in a number of different locations on campus throughout the year. Click the location for a map.

From the south (and the main campus)

Head north down Martin Luther King Jr Blvd (formerly Airport Road) toward I-40. Go through the intersection of Martin Luther King and Weaver Dairy Rd. Turn right at the next light. This is Perkins Drive. There is also a sign for the Chapel Hill North Shopping Center. The road curves around to the right and back up the hill (there’s a large ABC Store on your right). The driveway into the parking lot is on your right as you come up the hill. It is fairly steeply uphill; there is a UNC Parking sign. You will see the number on the building and an entrance facing you as you enter the parking lot.

Carolina Public Humanities is on the lowest level of the large mostly red brick building, on the side facing the shopping center. There is a lower level entrance, but the door is not as visible as the door marked “Sprinkler System” beside it. If you come in the building’s main entrance, you are on the first floor, and can take the elevator down to us. (Turn left when you get off the elevator, and we’re at the end of the hall on the left.)
